Following the ceremony, your loved one can be buried or memorialised at the Toowoomba Garden of Remembrance Cemetery & Crematorium which is a 10-minute drive from our funeral home. The tranquil lakes and beautiful gardens provide a calm oasis to celebrate and remember loved ones. Drayton and Toowoomba cemetery are also a short drive away.

Facilities at Our Toowoomba Funeral Home

Our funeral home is a comfortable and welcoming space for families to gather to either arrange a funeral or hold the service. Our facilities include:

  • A chapel featuring stain glass windows seats 80 guests and has standing room for another 20 guests. The chapel can also be used as a viewing room for private goodbyes
  • Audio-visual equipment is available so you can play music and show photos or videos during the service that celebrate your loved one
  • A covered patio area which can be used for after funeral catering or refreshments
  • An arrangement room where you can meet a funeral director who will guide you through the process of arranging a funeral or memorial service.
  • A coffin selection room where you can view a wide selection of caskets and coffins in different materials and finishes

There is parking available for 8 cars at the funeral home with additional parking available on surrounding streets; Herries street and John street. It is also a 3 minute walk to the nearest bus stop. Our funeral home is accessible for visitors in wheelchairs and with other mobility aids.

Meeting and working with the many different people in our community.

How long have you been a location manager?
23 years.

What do you enjoy in your spare time?
I am a member of the local Rural Fire Brigade.  I also enjoy sport such as golf, bowls, tennis, fishing and I do some hobby farming.

Are there any special community groups you work with or support?
I have been a member of the Rural Fire Brigade for the last 25 years and the Treasurer for the last 12 years. I am the Chairman of the local bowls club - Toowoomba (Souths) and the Vice President of the Downs Diggers Social Bowls Club.
